Founded by Molly Hutt Wardwell, whose commitment to environmental stewardship began during her undergraduate studies and was further shaped by her graduate research in Chile, Protean is rooted in a global perspective on sustainability. With over 30 years of experience as a landscape and garden designer and landscape professional, Molly channels her expertise into the art of design, creating beauty that brings joy and inspires others to value and protect our planet.
